Traffic Department |
Wade Adkins is the Traffic Officer for the City of Peru Traffic Department. Wade and Traffic Department Assistant, Mark Pyeritz, are responsible for street closings for special events and maintaining over 25 miles of street pavement markings. This includes traffic lane lines, symbols, legends, center lines, etc... The traffic department is also responsible for the installation of all traffic signs and posts. Many of the signs are made in the traffic department shop. The office hours are Monday thru Friday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. To report a sign down or missing, please call 473-2154 or after hours 473-5522.
