NEW BUSINESS: Peru Police Department Rank Changes request:
September 1, 2010
City of Peru Board of Public Works and Safety
Gentlemen,
I would ask the members of the Board of Public Works and Safety to accept the following rank changes within the Peru Police Department.
Jeff Grant is currently a Sergeant in the Investigations Division and pending the board’s approval, I am requesting his rank be changed to Lieutenant. Jeff has been a Sergeant within the Narcotics Division for approximately 8 years and will now be overseeing both Narcotics and the Criminal side of Investigations.
I would also request Officer Jules Buffington and Officer Rod Richard to be promoted to the rank of Sergeant.
Both these officers have worked in the area of investigations for the past 4 years. They have both proven themselves to being very thorough in the areas of crime scene investigations and criminal interviews.
I would ask the members of the City of Peru Board of Public Works and Safety to accept the changes listed above and make them effective September 1, 2010.
Fraternally, Bill Raber, Chief
